Academy Membership is designed for those who are new to golf and new to golf club membership. It combines lessons from our PGA Qualified Coaching Team with access to the golf course, and starts you on the journey to becoming a regular golfer and obtaining a handicap.
Included in the package is a course of 6 individual one hour lessons with a PGA Professional Coach which includes swing analysis and tuition using the Skytrack Indoor Golf Simulator, covering all aspects of the game including instruction on Woods, Irons, Pitching and Chipping, Bunker Play and Putting.
It also includes a 7 hole playing lesson on the golf course, with personal instruction on correct shot-making, golf rules and etiquette advice, and game improvement techniques.
You are given an assessment of your current golf equipment, including loft and lie checks, and the opportunity to try the latest demo clubs from top manufacturers such as Callaway, Titleist and Ping.
Access to the golf course is permitted during off-peak times (after 2pm weekdays and 3pm weekends) once the Head Professional signs you off as ready.
You receive all the benefits of 12 months social membership, with full access to the clubhouse and events. You also get £50 pre-loaded onto your members club card to spend on food or drink in the clubhouse.
Whilst on the course you are covered for public liability, plus you get the opportunity to meet like-minded golfers, make new friends and become part of our fantastic club.
After your 12 months in the Academy is complete, you will be invited to transfer to another category, subject to both satisfactory assessment by our Head Professional and availabilty.
